DeArmond Starfire Special

The guitar that Owain used throughout all of their early music, despite a lot of the guitar work on D>M and Kicking Cars being from Andy, this guitar can most likely be heard on a lot of ferric oxide songs, such as Formula, All They Wanted and No.8.

The preamp that the "old large pure diaphragm condenser" microphone that Andy has mentioned were ran through this

Owain and Andy's guitar amps, as can be seen in the Ferric Oxide pictures, we're not entirely sure if they were used on D>M, but they were most likely used quite heavily on the Ferric Oxide songs, All They Wanted and Neilssong are the most probable ones.

Can be seen in some of the Ferric Oxide photos.
USA Arctic White Fender Stratocaster (Left-Handed)

Most likely a mid '90's model, This was Andy's main guitar. It's is one of the few pieces of equipment along with Shaun's Bass and amp that we actually have pictures of the band using.
Andy said:
"I only had a choice of two guitars in the whole shop, both of them the same because I’m a leftie. I think my dad took pity on me and made me cut his grass for the next two decades."
Fender Musicmaster Bass

Shaun's main bass, as far as we know for the bands whole first few years before the band broke up in 2002, most likely used on everything from No. 8 to Kicking Cars.

Andy's said before that it was an "old one from the 70’s. Reeeeeally nice!".
Carlsbro Stingray Bass Amp

Shaun's bass head, unfortunately not much is known about it as it's only seen in a couple of the Ferric Oxide photos. Most likely used on the early stuff but we can't say for certain that it was used for a long time.
